We warmly invite you to our next event, the ENGAGEvENT, which will take place from 22 to 24 March at the Grunewald Abenteuerzentrum in Berlin.
The weekend is aimed at former weltwärts volunteers who would like to connect with other alumni. You will have time to get to know each other, discuss the issues that concern you and develop ideas together.
At a market of opportunities, you can get in touch with cool organisations and initiatives, find out which funding you are eligible for and get a good overview of different ways to get involved. The open space will then focus on your needs and ideas – would you like to get together in a regional group, do you already have a project idea that you would like to pursue or would you like to get involved in political discussions about the future of the weltwärts programme? Anything is possible. We want to make it easier for you to get active.
Apart from that, it is important for us to talk to you about what you would like the alumni community to be like. What should it give you and what can you contribute? How can the community support, motivate, network and what should it look like?
All of this takes place in a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of beautiful Grunewald forest. We’ll have a great weekend with delicious food, games, creative activities, campfires, music, nice conversations and anything else you want to bring along!

Information on barriers: The Abenteuerzentrum has low barriers. It is generally accessible for wheelchair users, there is a ramp, a barrier-free bathroom and low door thresholds. Unfortunately, there are no guidance systems for the blind or visual signals for the deaf.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sign language interpretation for the entire weekend as our financial resources are severely limited. However, we would like to try to find individual solutions if you have limitations and would like to participate. Please send us an email to konzept@grenzenlos.org as soon as possible.
Language information: The event will be held in German and English. We do not have professional translators, but we can cover both languages in the team and trust that the group can generally communicate in both languages. If you mainly speak another language such as Spanish or French, you can indicate this in the registration form and we will try to connect the participants in such a way that low-threshold (whisper) translation can take place.
